Mid City AF - the TUBA fundraiser
The Mid City Art & Farmers Market is TUBA's biggest fundraiser of the year. All funds raised through the market will be reinvested in our community initiatives and projects focused on improving the quality of life for residents of Mid City.
Some projects that TUBA has helped implement:
*Teamed up with SOUL Nola to plant over 200 trees in the TUBA area
*Teamed up with MCNO & MCSD to install crime cameras at 20 properties in the TUBA area
*Organized the Art & Farmers Market in Comiskey Park
*Regular meetings to keep the neighborhood informed
*Teamed up with Trash Mob Nola to pick up litter
*Hosted crime awareness meetings
*Working with Urban Conservancy for a Healthy Block Initiative to remove pavement and beautify the area
